The purpose of this page is to help students find data for their Master’s thesis and other projects. Links to different types of databases, which are all publicly available, across different topics are listed below. These data sources differ greatly in their level of detail and volume. Therefore, not all links are equally useful for different types of projects.

Data from journal articles

Most journals post the data used for empirical analyses or have data archives. Therefore, if you find a good paper, the data behind the analysis is often either a public dataset or can be found at one of the authors' webpage. If not, you can also try contacting the responsible author. Look, for instance, at these journals (use the internet access to journals at the university/libraries):

You have internet access to academic journals from the university and the Royal Library. Otherwise, you can also use the remote internet access through the Royal Library's search database (http://rex.kb.dk/).
