This year’s workshop will take place from Thursday 5 November 2026 (12:00) to Friday 6 November 2025 (12:30) at Hotel Fuglsøcentret, Dragsmurvej 6, 8420 Knebel.
The workshop is for PhD students (including visiting PhD students) from economics departments in the Danish Graduate Programme in Economics network (DGPE) consisting of Aarhus University, Aalborg University, Copenhagen Business School, University of Copenhagen, University of Southern Denmark.
Participation is free of charge. Joint transport to and from Hotel Fuglsøcentret may be organised by your university - check with your local PhD administration. PhD students are expected to present their research in the form of a flash talk, a draft paper presentation, or a poster presentation, while some students will also serve as discussants. Faculty members from AU, AAU, CBS, KU, and SDU will participate in the workshop, providing comments and feedback on the students’ work.
The annual workshop is an important and recurring milestone in the PhD curriculum. It offers students a valuable opportunity to receive constructive feedback on their research while developing their presentation and discussion skills in a supportive academic environment. In addition, the workshop provides an excellent setting for networking and exchanging ideas with fellow PhD students and faculty from universities across Denmark.
