Carsten Andersen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University. He is a member of the Center for Research in Energy: Economics and Markets (CoRE). He holds a PhD in Economics and Business Economics from Aarhus University (2019).

Carsten's research interests include environmental economics, hedonic pricing and intergenerational mobility. For example, he has studied the relation between house prices and wind turbines as well as the inferred discount rate from apartment transactions in Denmark.
Carsten is teaching Mathematics, offered at the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Economics and Business Administration. The course is 5 ECTS and deals with mathematical representation and solution of problems encountered in economics, business and logistics.
In addtion, Carsten undertakes supervision of bachelor theses, master theses, and topic reports.
Carsten has also previously co-taught Environmental Economics offered at the Master's Degree Programme in Economics.
