My research interests are in Corporate Finance. The common element in my research profile is the focus on the strategic interaction and the possible conflicts of interest within and between firms. I have published my work in Management Science, the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and the Journal of Business Finance & Accounting.
I have broad teaching experience in Finance. Primarily, I have taught Corporate Finance on Bachelor, Master (MSc), MBA, and PhD levels. Moreover, I taught specialized courses in “Real Options and Strategic Interaction” and “Credit Ratings and Credit Risk” as well as introductory Asset Pricing for MSc and executive education students. I also supervised many Bachelor and Master theses and several PhD students.
