Ali Ghavamifar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University, within the fields of operations research, supply chain and operations management, and healthcare operations. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tehran (2022). He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where he was involved in research projects related to supply chain management and healthcare.
Ali’s research focuses on operations and supply chain management, with a strong emphasis on applied operations research. His work addresses practical decision-making problems in areas such as supply chain resilience, sustainable and circular supply chains, healthcare operations, humanitarian logistics, and food supply chains, using quantitative modeling and analytical methods to support planning and improve system performance.
