Bent Nielsen is Professor of Economics at Aarhus University. He is a member of Aarhus Center for Econometrics (ACE), where he investigates the econometric theory of algorithms for detecting outliers and clusters. He holds a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from University of Copenhagen (1997). He worked at University of Oxford (1996-2026).
