Christine Bangsgaard is a Postdoc at the Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University. She is a research fellow at the Center for Research in Energy: Economics and Markets (CoRE). She holds a PhD in Economics and Business Economics from Aarhus University (2024).
Christine's research interests include derivative markets and high-frequency data. Her research focuses on the interconnectedness of derivative markets and the stock market and retail investors' use of complex financial products.
Christine is teaching the course Financial Economics which is part of the BSc oecon programme. In addition, Christine undertakes supervision of bachelor and master theses. Christine has previously taught the course Fixed Income Analysis, a master's course for MSc in Mathematics-Economics.
