William Barreth is a PhD fellow at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University. He holds a master's degree in Economics (Public Policy) from Aarhus University (2023).
William's research interests include labour market policies, social insurance, and welfare, with a particular focus on disability insurance. He is particularly interested in how recent developments in temporary disability insurance schemes affect labour market outcomes and welfare. William has recently developed an interest in sickness absence.
