Research

Sabine’s research interests lie at the intersection of international trade and environmental economics. She is particularly interested in how environmental regulation affects firms and international markets, and in the role of firm heterogeneity in shaping these effects. Her research examines how firms adjust their production, sourcing, and trade decisions in response to policies such as the EU ETS and CBAM, and what these responses imply for emissions, competitiveness, and welfare.

Teaching activities

Sabine teaches the first-year Master’s course “Firms, Strategy, and Sustainability”. In addition, she supervises Bachelor’s and Master’s theses..
