Research

I specialize in business analytics, focusing on Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). My work includes methods for testing measurement invariance in PLS-SEM, enabling latent mean comparisons and facilitating longitudinal and multiple group studies. I've contributed to model assessment through the Cross-Validated Predictive Ability Test (CVPAT), improving model selection in business research. My research also examines financial market behavior, using textual analysis to explore investor narratives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Teaching activities

I have taught courses in areas including business analytics, business intelligence, statistical methods, database management, and data science. I advocate for a balanced approach to teaching, emphasizing both the hands-on application of materials and the foundational theoretical frameworks that underpin practical work. My teaching style fosters a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging in-class dialogue to enhance learning experiences.

Consultancy

I have engaged in several projects focused on developing statistical algorithms for production environments. As a consultant, I created, for example, an algorithm to automatically process, analyze, and make recommendations based on questionnaire data.

I am a co-founder of Tradervoice, a company dedicated to supporting private investors in making informed investment decisions. At Tradervoice, I have applied concepts from my research in narrative economics and econometrics, implemented AI-based solutions, and managed backend data flows.

My consultancy and entrepreneurial activities are closely intertwined with my research in quantitative methods and my teachings in the Cand.merc Business Intelligence specialization.
