Research
Laust's research interests include macroeconomics, macro-finance, and monetary policy. He is particularly interested in empirical methods related to Structural Vector Autoregressions including non-linear extensions.

Teaching activities
Laust has taught the "Capital Accumulation and Economic Growth" part of the econ Macroeconomics course. Additional teaching activities include teaching assistance and bachelor thesis supervision.
