Title: Combining Structural and Design Based methods with an application to Understanding College Enrollment Dynamics

Christopher R. Taber is the WARF James J. Heckman Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his PhD from University of Chicago in 1995 after which he was employed at Northwestern University from 1995-2007. He is a fellow of the International Association of Applied Econometrics, the Econometric Society, and the Society of Labor Economics.

Chris Taber has published numerable papers in the cross-section between applied econometrics, labor economics, and education economics in the very best economic journals including the Journal of Political Economy and Econometrica. He has been an associate editor at International Economic Review, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and Econometrica.

He has also served as an editor-in-chief the Journal of Labor Economics as well Quantitative Economics.

Chris has a longstanding relationship with Aarhus. He has visited multiple times and thought several PhD courses in labor economics. He has also worked with both Helena Skyt Nielsen and Rune Vejlin on projects which use Danish register data.
