A new analyst in CEFAU
We are happy to announce that Sarah Schroeder is coming back to CEFAU. Sarah was previously part of the research community around CEFAU and the FIND centre, but will now be part of our Analytics team.
Her research focuses on how technological change and globalisation shape firms, workers, and labour markets. She is currently working on projects examining which firms adopt AI, how AI and automation affect employment, skills, and productivity, and why there can be a gap between the potential of new technologies and their actual use within firms. In related work, she studies how technological change interacts with globalisation, including AI and services trade and the implications of trade and multinational activity for firms and workers. As part of the CEFAU Analytics team, she looks forward to bringing these strands together and translating her research into evidence that is useful for firms and decision-makers.
