Data and computational resources

 

Students and researchers have access to data and computational resources for research, teaching, and theses.

It is possible to obtain help or further information from the Database Support office:

Datastream is a very general macro-finance database. Staff members can have client software installed.

WRDS is an internet service allowing access to several databases, including CRSP and Compustat. Students can access WRDS from the department. Master students and staff can access WRDS from anywhere. You request a username on the WRDS homepage.

The Bloomberg database is a real-time database that covers a broad range of finance and economic data.

NYSE TAQ data contains intraday trade and quotes from 1993 and can be accessed through the university network.

The Danish macroeconomic models. ADAM and MONA,with databases and simulation software, are available on a Windows server.

Servers. The department maintains Windows and Linux servers with software for statistical analyses. One server is used for sensitive data including EUROSTAT microdata.

Other data is available from the AU library.

For CREATES Members. Full access to electricity price and load of data from the Nord Pool Spots FTP-Server is available. Further information.

Statistics Denmark Micro datasets. PhD students and staff have access to the Statistics Denmark Micro datasets through on NCRR, CIRRAU or ECONAU.
