The Denis Sargan Econometrics Prize to Bezirgen Veliyev

Bezirgen Veliyev and K. Ulrich Hounyo (SUNY Albany) have been awarded the Denis Sargan Econometrics Prize for their article entitled "Validity of Edgeworth Expansions for Realized Volatility Estimators”, which was brought in the February 2016 issue of The Econometrics Journal.

The Denis Sargan Econometrics Prize is awarded annually for the best article published in The Econometrics Journal to authors who obtained their PhD within the past five years.

Anders Bredahl Koch from the Department of Economics and Business and CREATES has received DKK 2.378.920 from the research career programme Sapere Aude under the Danish Council for Independent Research.
