Access to the server

• Faculty and PhD students: In order to access the server, you must be on a cabled AU net. If you are on Eduroam, or another WiFi AU net, or working outside the university, you must first establish a VPN tunnel to the AU net. 
• Students: In order to access the server, you must use the computers in C0.

Connecting to the server

• Having obtained the relevant access you connect to the server using the Microsoft program Remote Desktop – see these instructions for two-factor validation.
• You logon to the server using your UNI domain username auxxxxx.

Server

  • Confidential data should be placed on the O-drive (you are responsible for establishing a project and placing the data on the O-drive).
  • Non-confidential data should be placed on your U-drive (O-drive in case you do not have a U-drive).
