Do businesses' innovation and research benefit the bottom line, and what is the recipe for successful offshoring?

These are some of the questions that will be discussed on 28 May at Aarhus University. Together with the Danish Export Association, researchers from The Tuborg Research Centre for Globalisation and Firms at the Department of Economics and Business are organising the conference Succeskriterier for eksport – Made in Denmark anno 2050 (Export success criteria – Made in Denmark in 2050).

Before the debate is opened, Danish Minister for Trade and Investment Pia Olsen Dyhr will present the Danish government's proposal on how to promote Danish exports under the heading "Eksporten er altafgørende for Danmarks fremtid" (Exports are crucial to Denmark's future).

For several years, the Danish Export Association has been a case in AU Professor Philipp Schröder's research project Made in Denmark anno 2050 (Made in Denmark in 2050). The research project recently received a new, large grant of DKK 15 million from the Tuborg Foundation and will continue as the Tuborg Research Centre for Globalisation and Firms.

Based on their latest research findings, the centre’s researchers will talk about how Danish businesses can achieve export success. And Resolux, the Danish Export Association’s Member of the Year 2012, will attend the conference and talk about their recipe for export success.
