Title: "Implementing and evaluating Functional Familytherapy in Norway - and Denmark?"

Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an evidence-based treatment program for youth with behavioral problems (read more on: www.fftinc.com). In 2007 the Norwegian state child welfare implemented five FFT teams, and in 2013 the Norwegian Center for Child Behavior Development (Atferdssenteret) started a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the effectiveness of the program in Norway. In Denmark, the Family and Evidence Center (FEC) and the municipalities of Copenhagen and Herning started the first five Danish FFT teams in May 2013.

This seminar will briefly present the implementation of FFT in Norway and the ongoing quality assurance of the treatment program. Treatment outcomes as recorded through ongoing QA-data in Norway will be discussed. The seminar will also present the ongoing effectiveness trial in Norway. Ideas for a positive interplay between implementation of FFT and research on FFT in Denmark will be shared.

The seminar is a lunch seminar (lunch is on the house) -
