This interdisciplinary workshop between the social sciences and health science plans to explore the effects of early public and parental interventions in infancy and early childhood on the educational, economic, healthrelated, psychological and emotional outcomes of children and their families. Some relevant topics could be effects of parenting workshops, breastfeeding interventions, efficacy of health worker programmes, early discharge policies, effects of childcare provision, cost and quality and effects of other relevant early care interventions.
