Title: Analytics and optimization at QAMPO

These three graduates from Aarhus University work for a start-up company called Qampo that develops OR software. Their talk will gives us insight in practical issues related to that.

Abstract: At this seminar, the founders of QAMPO, three former students of Mathematical Economics at Aarhus University, will present their analytic approach to practical problems and present examples on concrete customer cases. QAMPO, founded in November 2014, provides analytical solutions to their customers to help them utilize data proactively in their organization. This could be in the form of actual planning and optimization solutions, based on Operations Research and mathematical modeling, or application of data and text mining and statistical analysis to identify patterns in the customers’ data and to transform these into action-oriented decision support.
