For alumni
At the Department of Economics and Business Economics we share our research-based knowledge with our alumni. At present, we have the following alumni associations:
IEC Alumni Association (International economic consulting - cand.merc.)
The primary purpose of the IECAA is to create value for former IEC students.
By establishing an international network of former students the IECAA will allow members to share knowledge, experience and competencies.
Furthermore, the IECAA will act as a link between the demand and supply of credible economic consulting by matching large businesses and government institutions such as Maersk, Siemens, DONG and Bestseller with consulting firms such as COWI, Ramboell, Ernst & Young, Damvad, Deloitte and PHD students.
Finally, the IECAA will add value to former IEC students by strengthening the IEC brand throughout the Danish and international business community.
Oeconforeningen (cand.oecon.)
Oeconforeningens primære formål er at skabe rammerne for et aktivt fagligt og socialt netværk for cand.oecon.’er på tværs af årgange og brancher. Dette betyder, at Oeconforeningens netværk giver dig mulighed for at udveksle erfaringer i et uformelt, men samtidigt drøn-professionelt regi. Måske endda over et par øl som i de gode, gamle dage, hvor teorien var på plads, og stemningen i fredagsbaren var høj.
Samtidig bidrager Oeconforeningen også til at fastholde kontakten mellem færdiguddannede cand.oecon.'er og Institut for Økonomi. Derved får du mulighed for både at følge med i ændringer i uddannelsen og Instituttets nye ansigter og forskningsresultater. Dette kan give dig inspiration til dagligdagen, uanset om du skal ansætte en ny cand.oecon. eller har brug for input i forbindelse med konkrete opgaver i dit job.
MBA Alumni Association
The MBA Alumni Association gives alumni the possibility to expand their network as well as keeping and renewing the knowledge and skills they obtained during their time of study at Aarhus BSS.
The association offers various events in the course of the year, such as local networking events at different locations, seminars with select themes, the possibility of taking part in current MBA classes’ international study trips and a reunion day.
SuLo - Student Union of Logistics (Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
SuLo is short for Student Union of Logistics. It is a student union for both present and former students enrolled in MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Analytics at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University.
