Shin Kanaya

Shin Kanaya is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics, Aarhus University. He earned a BA and an MA from the University of Tokyo, majoring in economics, and he earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford (the Department of Economics, Nuffield College and the Oxford-Man Institute).

His primary research is on econometric theory with emphasis on nonparametric testing and estimation problems of economic and financial models. Recently, he is also working on microeconometrics, developing new semi/non parametric estimators for projects on educational and development economics.
