This course will cover frontier research on the evaluation of public programs with a particular focus on issues related to healthcare design and child welfare. Methodological topics will include differences-in-differences, regression discontinuity designs, social experiments, and instrumental variables. Knowledge at the level of Wooldridge (2002) is required. The course will be lectured by Joseph Doyle, MIT.
The course is directed at all Danish and international PhD students, as well as postdocs and other researchers. The course is free of charge for Danish PhD students.
